This Easy Grilled Shrimp recipe is so easy, so quick and so tasty! We lived through hurricane Ike, but were without power for 5 days. This recipe came in handy during our "no electricity time."
I had to cook whatever was in our freezer before the food spoiled. Our freezer was full of frozen shrimp as is the requirement living with a husband from New Orleans.
Our tubs that were once filled with frozen goodies were starting to defrost after the 2nd day and grocery stores were closed.
By the 2nd day of eating grilled hotdogs, hamburgers, and steak, we were really ready for seafood!
We normally fix a very nice Shrimp Kabob with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and steak. But this was not the time!
We were hot and hungry and needed something fast! This recipe did the trick!
Ingredients
Directions
Prepare grill as you normally would.
Season shrimp.
Pour Italian dressing over shrimp.
Make an aluminum foil pouch with a sheet of foil. Curl up the edges.
Place shrimp on grill in pouch with some of the dressing.
Grill 10-15 minutes until done.
Remember when shrimp are pink and form a "C", they are done. If they form an "O", they are overdone!
