Candied Sweet Potatoes

Do You Know The Difference Between A Sweet Potato And A Yam?

Candied Sweet Potatoes

This recipe should be called candied sweet potatoes or yams because when I go to the store I buy whichever is available and on sale.

But in preparing this webpage, I did some research and discovered that they are actually 2 distinct vegetables, from 2 different plant families.

There are some people who like one and hate the other. I can not tell the difference.

I discovered that the technical details are boring and often contradict each other.

Which is sweeter? I still do not know. Please sign up for my newsletter and let me know.

I do know that this recipe makes either sweet potatoes or yams taste great! It's like having a dessert, but eating your vegetables!
